Well several weeks ago Julie TW asked me to swap pics with her… I love to swap pics…. It really gets you out of your comfort zone… Scrapping for other people is difficult. Well I finished her layout today….

Here is the Layout I made for Julie….This is the precious Brookie… Julies daughter. I think she is just adorable and I moved her status from Princess to Queen cause I think she RULES!!!! I made the layout using a new line of Making Memories… Vintage finds… I found it at Michaels. You better go check it out before it is all gone…cause I bought it all…Hahahahaha!!!!! A couple weeks ago I received some happy mail from Brazil. My wonderfully talented friend, Georgia sent me a surprise with Flip Flops, Chocolate and ribbon. Well she sent a similar surprise to Julie…. So I asked Julie to make a layout with our flip flops. She did individual layouts one for her and one for me { the one for me will be posted Friday} Check out her blog here to see her awesome talent!!!!

The coolest bug I have ever seen!!!
Okay… So here is the story….. My husband is “trying” to grow a tomatoe plant in a pot. He says he is doing this because if he plants it in the ground the ants will get to it! Well it is not working out so well and today he told me he was just going to kill the plant and start over fresh… When he went to go get it I was walking behind him… He jumped up in the air and backwards…. I think it is funny when he does this but most of the time he is running from a bee. He is 6ft 2 inches and runs from bugs…
He hehehehehe..LOL.
Well this time he jumped and ran but I did not see any bee. Just this fabulous creature….sitting on my husbands tomatoe plant. He is gorgeous… I love his coloring. I am so scrapping this. So as he is jumping and running to get away from the bug I am running in the house hoping it does not fly away so I can get a picture of it…. I wish you could have been here to see it all go down… Pretty funny.
I will be at a Womens Conference with my church all weekend… So I pray everyone is healthy and that you have a fabulous weekend. Much Love, Amy

I think everyone knows southern Louisiana is HOT in the summer time…. I like all the different weather we have… I was born and raised in California and we had pretty perfect weather all the time…. Here I never know what we are gonna get from day to day… It makes for some interesting life…

Well it is crazy how things shift but this weekend and next I have some large cake orders….. It takes up alot of my time…. Honestly I’de rather be scrapping but a change of pace is always good…

And to me at first this was a very strange order but my wonderful friend Allison thinks I can just make a cake look like anything she wants…. LOL. She wanted a beach ball cake… So glad I own a cake pan that makes Balls. I love this cake I think it came out cool…

Wow… What a great beginning to the Summer…. Alex is very close to turning 15… Her mom… ME…. I am not ready for that. Is there not a button we can push to slow down their growing up. My boys have spent the last 2 weeks at My mother-in-laws… Summer at Grandmas… They do not want to come home. I can’t even bribe them to come home. Soooo, That means some wonderful Mother Daughter time. Well Alex has herself as of last week boyfriend…. What?/lksdjgnukjdhgb vnk…….AHHHHHHHHHHH!
I guess it is cool… we know about this one… He is a sweetheart. So I thought I would share this because honestly…. I am freaking out. She is a teenager… I remember being 15 and she can’t be that way… LOL. She is a good girl. I am so very lucky. Wow…. I know this is random… But any advise would be greatly appreciated.

My one true love is sharing ideas and creativity with those around me. What better way to do it than to teach at a scrapbook store…. I love it and I am so excited that Denise from Scrapbook and Co in Baton Rouge has asked me to teach at her store….We are putting our heads together for some awesome projects…. Check out her Blog for details.
Denise gave me a pretty cool Teresa Collins project kit to work with and I finally will be able to teach the Ice cream Box project kit from Jenni Bowlin….

Several months back I emailed Jenni Bowlin and asked her permission to teach some of the awesome projects she was creating on her blog. She said “Yes” I love Jenni Bowlin and love to share that with others. She does some really great techniques with her crepe paper in this project.
There is so much inspiration out there so these classes I am teaching are kits from 2 very talented ladies in the industry…. Teresa Collins and Jenni Bowlin. But keep checkin’ cause my wheels are spinnin’ with some great ideas for new projects. The weekend event has me truly inspired if I could just get all my supplies organized. I could sit and scrap for days.
