Thanks, Shop Crop Suey for the inspiration on the middles of the flowers. Those marble thingies were big purchase items at the crop…But I brought some of the supplies to make my own just in case and even helped a few other people learn how to make them. I made the flowers out of paper. I much rather make my own embellishments than by them.

We walked to a gorgeous lookout after we visited the church. The statue behind Francesco and Jasin is St. Rosalia protecting Palermo.

I could not wait to scrap this picture Matt and Stacy took of Jaxon and I found some cool Train paper by Graphic 45. He is sitting on the train track but the weeds are so over grown you really can't tell. The title is Big Dreams, Little Dreamer!

I found by accident the other day a wonderful inspiration on ww.scrapinstyletv.com. One of the sisters… profile name lisalisa had this qoute on an ATC. I am better than I used to be, but not as good as I will be. She said was talking to a friend and it just came out her mouth…A God thing. I loved it and had to use it on a layout. I asked her permission and she is patiently awaiting the finished product.

Thank You!!!!

Well tonight was faith crop. We made pages for a woman named Dana who has 3 children and has stage 4 cancer. I am a true believer in miracles so that is what I am believing for in this situation…But in the mean time how about a smile on her face when we make her wishes come true. She is a scrapbooker and wants albums for her children. So we helped that along. I am so thankful to everyone who helped make the pages for Dana….This woman holds a special place in my heart and in my prayers. Thank you….Heather, Candy and Linda for helping with the layouts tonight and this past week. I know Phylis will be sending Jocelyn some pages of her own. Well tonight we ended up with 40 double page layouts and 11 single page layouts. that is 91 pages total. Some very simple layouts and some very intricate layouts. What a blessing this is. Heather had a secret stash of pre-made pages and donated them all. I appreciate all of you. Mrs. Barbara was scrapbooking tonight and asked us what we were doing. I told her and she said she had read the story in Ladies home journal last night. She also said she was very emotional over it. I get to read it next. Have a great weekend I am off to scrap some more. Well to bed first for a couple hours atleast. Love to you all, Amy

I need everyones HELP….. I was visiting Julie Tucker-Woleks Blog and came across a story I had to investigate. Please read the following blog entry from a lady named Jocelyn. Copy and paste the following link to visit her site. This woman is amazing.

http://scrappinmeme.blogspot.com/2009/03/asking-for-good-deed.html

“I received a phone call from one of my dearest friends, Jamie, in my Scrapbook Club and she asked if I could reach out to all of you who read my Blog and ask for a good deed. She was so upset when she called me about this. She read an article in Ladies Home Journal about a 31 year old woman who is an avid scrapbooker and is in Stage 4 Cancer, terminal!!!! Her wish before she dies is that she can complete the scrapbooks that she has for her children!!!! Her name is Dana Doruin and her husband name is Shawn. They live in New Jersey and have 3 children. One son, Ryan is 12, and a set of twins, a boy Aidan and a girl Sydni, age 5. They have been to Disney World, vacation at the beach and celebrate all the Holidays!!!!! Jamie has a wonderful idea, knowing that scrapbookers have hearts of gold, she thought we could help this family who is in need!!!We are looking for 12×12 pages, completed and ready for a picture!!!!! Ladies Home Journal has agreed if we complete these pages and forward them to the magazine, they will get them to Dana!!!! So…….. could anyone complete just one page, pink, blue, boy, girl, vacation, holidays, just about anything that you might want to put together. Jamie, is attending a crop on March 28th and hoping that some of the ladies there will also contribute. Jamie has two wonderful little girls, Kali Grace 2 years old, and Kathryn Rose, 5 months. She stated that she just could not imagine the pain of losing her life, knowing that she has children to be raised!!!! We would like to have all pages received by April 2nd!!! I know that does not give us a lot of time, but anything would be appreciated. You can email me at GwainBear@aol.com and I will give you my address so that you can mail them to me and I can get them into Jamie’s hands!!! Thank you so much!!!”

I will be bringing supplies to our Faith 365 meeting on Thursday to complete pages for Dana…You  read w this woman has 3 children and is in stage 4 terminal cancer….Please pray for her first and foremost. Her wish is to get together a scrapbook for her children but she needs lots of help. I will be completing as many layouts as I can and I am asking for you to do the same … if you can! Wow how amazing this is. Bring them to Faith crop on Thursday or I can come pick them up from you. I will mail them out on Friday to reach the deadline of April 2!!!!! Love to all of you. Amy

P.S. I will have a special surprise for all who help me with this awesome project!

Man OH....My little Man......Matt and Stacy captured Jaxon perfectly.

Matt, Stacy, Jaxon and I went  for a little ride today. As you know Matt and Stacy had a mini photo shoot with Jenni and Jared Bowlin. Well,  we wanted to add Some Things Unique to their photo package we were sending so we decided to do a little flea market shopping today to add a few bits of vintage sweetness to their package. We found some cool stuff. Who knows it might just come out in one of her fabulous kits. So of course Matt brought the camera and took this “to die for” shot of my little man. I absolutely love this shot. Thanks guys can’t wait to scrap it.

When I came home I go to check the mail and have a little package from Arizona. How cool is this blog thing. I have been meeting people I probably never would have come in contact with. They are all amazingly gifted…First a package from Holland I love my new friend Jenneke. Now a package from Arizona…Ahhh I love my new friend Julie and soon I will recieve a package from a giveaway I won from A Bushel and a Peck… My newest friend Jeanne from Colorado.

I left a comment at ScrapinStyleTv.com for a page Julie made…I love birds right now and she had a beautiful card with a bird on one of her pages. I posted a comment saying I would like to know where she got that bird. Well today in the mail she sent me a bird card just like the one on her page. How sweet is that?! Thank you Julie You made my great day even better.

Julie sent me a bird playing card.

Tonight we had Faith 365 my scrapbooking small group and Quilts 4 Life a small group I lead with another wonderful woman, Mrs. Sheryl. I saw in a magazine recently a picture of the cutest handmade topiary. I decided to duplicate. I was thinking I would do it as a little project only it took me 3 hours to glue the flowers and buttons on. { I was messing around with different ideas most of the time }… I guess I love a lot of detail. Well it came out cute. What do you think?
