Just a note… For those of you who read my blog for scrappin’ purposes I add alot of pics and personal family stuff because All my extended family lives in California or Missourri. With a family of 6 it is rare we are able to visit. So it is easier for me to post them on the blog then load them in an email. Hope everyone enjoys.

Here are the details of our Christmas morning.

The kids woke up early morning.   2am to be exact. I woke up to hear Alex, Jacob and Jesse talking…Loud. I went into the boys bedroom and Alex was in bed with Jesse and they were just havin’ a ball. Mean ol’ mom sent them back to bed. I was not about to deal with 4 tired babies fightin’ all day.

Eventually they fell back to sleep and Jasin and I woke them up at 7 am. Much better.

They ripped thru their presents decided what was their favorites and have been playin away…or should I say shootin’! Jacob and Jesse got BB guns, Jaxon got a tricycle but it is a little big. Jaxon also got a fake cell phone which I think is his favorite thing because he has not let it go all morning and Alex got her IPOD. They did open a few other gifts but those were their big gifts.

So here are a few pictures. All my love to everyone. Enjoy.

Okay, So TM has been crazy busy the last couple of weeks. I think it was the best to see guys coming in to the store buying for their loved ones. Some bought gift certificates, some bought lots of goodies and some even made their wife something. Well My husband and I really do not exchange gifts. We live simple and if there is something we need we just save and get it. SO, when Christmas Eve comes and we are getting all the presents ready for our children we of course have something for each other we hoped was a surprise though Jasin has a funny way of guessing every present before he sees it or opens it. I still can’t figure out how he does it.

Well this Christmas He is all into camping and hunting so I got him a really cool Sleeping bag it has memory foam and everything… I thought he already had one but I was excited when he said he was surprised and wanted one like I gave to him.

I always tell him to go into my scrapbook stuff and make me something…In the 6 years I have been scrapbooking he has never done it until tonight. I have to say it brought tears to my eyes. He really does not show his emotions and I guess I feel that when somebody puts their heart into making something it is alot more meaningful. I love handmade gifts…even if it is a card. It really truly means alot to me. So I have attached the page he made for me I will frame it and put it my scrap space.

The best gift ever!

The best gift ever!

I hope everyone has a very meaningful Christmas and a blessed New Year.

Merry Christmas to you!

Merry, Merry Christmas to all!

Well Have the best Christmas ever. I know it is easy to get caught up in all the hustle and bustle of the season and really any season of your life  But take a minute and look around your house at all your decorations and presents and see if the following definitions of Christmas symbols change your perspective…

Maybe you will see the season “s” in a different light.

The Christmas tree An evergreen tree symbolizes God’s everlasting love.  The lights represent stars of the heavens, and a big star on top represent the one the wise men followed to see Baby Jesus.

The Gifts
Giving a gift is an act of love like God’s love for us in sending Jesus.  Each gift, as beautiful as we can make it, reminds us of the perfect gift, Jesus Christ as our Saviour.

The Candles
As we light candles during the Christmas season, they remind us how we are to be a light unto the world.

The Bells
They are used to announce the birth of the Saviour and to call us to worship Him.

The Wreath
The circle, which has no beginning or end, reminds us of God’s unending love for us as He offers us salvation.

The Holly
The holly’s thorn like leaves remind us of Jesus’ crown of thorns, and the berries symbolize the drops of blood He shed for us.

Tis’ the season to give. So in the Christmas spirit I am going to give somethings away.

Please leave a nice Christmas comment on my blog and I will pick the winner Christmas Day.

Check out the picture below to see what you will win. I put together 5 little kits of fun stuff.

Thanks to Jeanne P. for the idea for Christmas giveaways on the blog. WoooWhooo!

What an Awesome day Thursday was. We had a lot of snow and we had a wonderful time at the Faith Crop Christmas Party. We will have Faith Crop at the store this coming Thursday the last one of the year. I am going to bring some of the projects we did…Ornaments, Gift bags and tags for your last minute gifts. Make-n-take mania. LOL. I know many of you had previous engagements and were not able to join us. I know everyone is so so so busy.

Hope to see you there.

I read a poem at the Christmas Faith Crop and I wanted to share it with you…

Recipe for Christmas All Year Long

Take a heap of child-like wonder
That opens up our eyes
To the unexpected gifts in life—
Each day a sweet surprise. Mix in fond appreciation
For the people whom we know;
Like festive Christmas candles,
Each one has a special glow. Add some giggles and some laughter,
A dash of Christmas food,
(Amazing how a piece of pie
Improves our attitude!) Stir it all with human kindness;
Wrap it up in love and peace,
Decorate with optimism, and
Our joy will never cease. If we use this healthy recipe,
We know we will remember
To be in the Christmas spirit,
Even when it’s not December. By Joanna Fuchs
If I do not see you before Christmas Have a wonderful Christmas season with family and friends. Find JOY in each day and Thank God For all the many blessings in your life.Merry Christmas with Love, Amy

What an awesome Christmas surprise. I remember calling My Dad the first year we moved here and telling him I had to move to Louisiana to get snow for Christmas. Since I lived near the beach it never happened Unless we went way up in the mountains. It was New Years Eve I think 8 years ago when that happened. Well I was up with Jaxon most of the night and noticed it looked weird outside. I was too tired to check it out well Alexandria came running down the stairs saying it is snowing. I jumped out my rocker and checked it out… Here are some pics. I bet every blog in town will have snow pics.
