Holy cow……No pun intended. LOL. We had 21 people at the Faith Crop on Thursday night. It was a fabulous night. Many said they had a really good time. I love that we can all get together. I have not done a Faith Crop layout for the last 2 meetings but I made one that night. Here are the pictures.

Okay….The flower is a Prima flower. It comes embossed but I inked it . I distressed the edges of the photos and the letter A card. The cool safety pin is new by Tim Holtz. There is a pack of several and they all have different words on them. Mine says Fragile. Oh the coolest. I took Jenni Bowlins new crepe paper ribbon in white and inked it black. It makes the possibilities endless now. She has cool colors in the crepe paper ribbon but if you  get white and own ink pads it makes for a cool add on to any page. Ps. I staple it on. They did it in a layout on her website. I like it.

Well I was invited to go to the Lake Charles retreat house, Arbor Oaks… check it out it’s in my blog roll.

Oh my goodness you have to go. Totally worth it. If anyone wants to go I have to go back. $100 per person for the whole weekend. email me. a_muffoletto@hotmail.com.

So I have to say I caught up on sleep this weekend, I did a 5K walk for Breast Cancer and I organized about 3000 pictures. I feel accomplished. Yes, I am starting on the kids books. I completed a few layouts that were very simple probably scraplifted from somewhere and page kits are great. ha ha. Remember I said they were simple. I am back and I have scrapbook fever and I can’t wait to get in my new space to do more layouts from the pictures I sorted. Take a look and tell me what you think.

    Who’s 5 today?

Happy Birthday to my little Jesse. He had a pirate birthday. We celebrated his birthday today with family and his friends in our neighborhood. His real birthday is on Wednesday. After all the celebrating today, bathtime and preparing for bed…. I was tucking him into bed and saying goodnight he tells me…. “momma, I didn’t want my birthday to be today.”  Meaning he had so much fun he wants to do it again tomorrow. I thought it was too cute. Well here is the pics of the little man with his cake.

    Bloggin’!

Okay what’s the deal?…. I am not sure what happened the last couple of weeks but with my grandfather passing away…2 hurricanes…and just life as usual I have been turned upside down inside. The creative flow is just not happenin’. So I am excited to say I have been arranging again. Wanna see my new scrap space….TeeeHeee. Sorry the picture is not great of course my camera batteries died.

    My new scrap space.

    My new scrap space.

All my supplies used to be in the closet downstairs not being used. I organized it all but I still had trouble with pulling it all out and not being able to find anything, So I over took our bedroom. Now all the kids toys are in the closet and we made them a little fort. I wish I had that when I was little. We have a townhouse with 6 people crammed in it but I think I utilize the space wisely. All the baskets you see will be labeled with tags. It is so much easier to scrap now. You will be seeing alot more of my personal scrapbook pages. I am starting on the kids books. OOOOH I said that out loud. I took my jump drive with 2300 photos on it to be developed today. Since my space has been undergoeing some major overhaul I have had no time to do anything except make a few purchases getting ready for a little weekend getaway to the retreat house in Lake Charles. Check out the link in my Blog roll for Arbor Oaks. It truly is an amazing place and the owner is so darn sweet. Definatly a woman of God. Well that is all I have for now. I’ll be bloggin’ soon.

Okay so Last month Jenni Bowlin posted on her website a contest for a guest designer spot on her blog. I have never submitted anything to a contest and the only stipulation was to use her monthly kit which I anxiously await each month. So I entered. Well I received an email from Jenni about a week ago and………

Hi there ladies- I am back from South Africa and have had some time to pour over all of the amazing entries for the contest.  I am blown away!!!

In fact, I think I need some help in making the decision and that’s where you come in!

I have chosen those receiving this e-mail as finalists but I would like to see more of your work.  If you happen to have a blog, website, gallery at 2peas, etc. that you can forward me so I can see more of your work that would be great.  You are also welcome to send me anything you like (lets limit it to 4 projects/layouts) via e-mail instead of or as well.  The only catch is to keep it under 3MB all together or else the e-mail will likely not come through.  I will respond to these e-mails just so you know that I received them.

You are welcome to let me know anything else of importance in these e-mails.  No real rules here to worry about- I just want to get a better understanding of what each of you can do as whole.  There are only 14 of you so way to go!!

Let’s say that you have until Friday to do this (the 26th).  I have to announce the winner on the 1st so this will give me a little time this weekend to look over everything.

This is really going to be tough!  Thanks so much for your hard work – Jenni

I am so glad I entered. It was a very exciting experience…I truly feel I am a winner just for making it into the 14 finalists. Especially seeing as I have never entered anything before. I have to tell you check out http://www.jennibowlin.com… go to the blog and look at the winners. Their pages are so amazing. You can also go to Michelle McCords blog at http://www.craziness-x-3.blogspot.com. (If you look at the comments on Jenni Bowlins site and see the first comment by michelle who was the first place winner. Click on it and go check out her blog.) I would have loved to see all the entries but I love Michelle McCords work she does some very creative and unique things with paper. Way to go Michelle and to the other winners and entries. I know everyone worked very hard.

Well below are a few photos of the projects I entered.
