Okay the hurricane thing is new to me I am just goin’ with the flow. My husband and his mother grew up around it so they just tell me what to do and I follow. We are staying in our townhouse. My prayers are with all of you for safe passage if you are traveling, Protection over your lives, families and homes if you are staying home and peace in your mind that all will be okay. If anyone is displaced please find me we will help you anyway we can. I will check email as long as we have it. Our church will set up a shelter as long as the electric is on. Be blessed and be safe. Love you…Amy

Gotta have Faith!

Today is a lean on God day. I was blessed with many words of encouragement at TM today. I am going to start working in the mornings on Tuesday and Thursday. I am excited about this. Working where I feel God has put me to share gifts God has given me.

My sister Casey who is in California gave me many phone calls today with the last call being my Grandfather went to be with the Lord today. He has had a couple years of fighting bad health. He was 88 years old and a wonderful man of integrity, encouragement, generosity, support, love and kindness. My grandfather was a very important part of my life…he was the father figure everyone dreams of. I very much loved him and will very much miss him. I know he is soaring with the angels tonight in great peace which he deserves.

My Faith crop layout of the week is a little tribute to the one I could always count on to be positive in my life.

What’s on my mind…?

Well I am preparing for the first in a series of layout classes I am teaching using the Cricut. I am stepping outside my box cause I think the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge is the cutest thing. I know it does not look like anything when you look at the back of the box but there are a ton of hidden treasures on this cartridge. I have been Cricut Crazy for sure. I made a Princess layout, Knight Layout, Pirate layout and a Halloween Layout and I have a few more in mind…..Hmmmm

Below is Cricut Crazy Class #1!

This whole layout was cut using the Cricut cutting machine.

Well I was pretty excited that I would have 3 in school this year. Excited to spend one on one time with Jaxon and excited to have a bit of free time to keep up with the house work…Scrap during naptime…take a nap if I want. When Jacob and Alex started school last week I dropped them off and Jacob would not kiss me good bye in front of his friends. I was sad. I got in my van and cried. Well today Jesse started pre-k and yes I cried. He was so excited. I was so excited for him. Jaxon and I spent some great time together this morning. He is napping now and I have been preparing for a new class and for faith crop. Here are some pictures of this morning.
